How it works
The report follows the Committee Report Pack: decisions first, then open items oldest first, jobs completed, contractor performance, planned maintenance, spend and what is coming. It has no charts. A committee acts on specific items, not trend lines.
Rules of this tool
- Age in days is the last day of the reporting month minus the date reported.
- An open item older than 30 days is flagged Over 30 days.
- An upcoming item due within 30 days of the report date is flagged Due within 30 days.
- A spend row with actual above budget is flagged Over budget. Variance is actual minus budget, and as a percentage of budget.
- Empty sections are left out of the report, except Decisions requested, which shows "No decisions requested this month".
Amounts are what you enter; the builder only adds them up.
Questions
What should a monthly JMB or MC maintenance report include?
Decisions the committee needs to take, open items oldest first, the jobs completed, how each contractor performed, spend against budget, and the works and renewals coming up. This builder lays them out in that order.
Why are open items shown oldest first?
The oldest open items are the ones most likely to be stuck. Putting them first means the committee discusses them before time runs out.
Does the builder store my report?
No. It is built in your browser and kept in this tab until you close it. Save it as a PDF to keep a copy.
Can I use my contractor scores?
Yes. If you used the Contractor Performance Scorecard in the same browser tab, you can import its results. Otherwise, type the score and band yourself.
Can I use my own currency?
Yes. Choose the currency label. The builder only adds up the amounts you enter.
