The Laksana Telegram bot: free on every plan

Your team can now run its maintenance work from Telegram, and it costs nothing extra on any plan. Here's what the Laksana Telegram bot does and how to set it up.

Free on every plan

Telegram bot chat and alerts are included on every plan, with no per-message fees. WhatsApp messages are metered; Telegram messages are not.

One Telegram group per site

Add the bot to a Telegram group, then bind the group to a site in Settings → Channels. From then on, everything the team reports in that group is filed against that site.

Connect by link or QR, no phone number needed

Each person opens My Profile → Connect Telegram and taps the link or scans the QR code. No phone number is needed. The link is single-use and expires after 15 minutes.

A / command menu in 9 languages

Type / in the chat to see the command menu. It follows the language of the Telegram app: English, Spanish, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Tagalog, Turkish, Vietnamese or Chinese. Plain words like "myissues" or "menu" work too, and they are the same words your team uses on WhatsApp.

Act on a notification in one tap

Notifications carry buttons, such as Acknowledge, that update the job when tapped. Staff can also reply to a notification with Done or In progress.

Report with a photo and a caption

Send a photo with a caption and the bot files a work update or an issue, then replies with its reference. If you edit a message you sent, the record the bot created takes the new text.

Your own branded bot on the Advanced plan

On the Advanced plan you can run the bot under your own name. Create a bot with BotFather, paste its token in Settings, and your team chats with your bot's name.
